Meet Dr. Casper

Originally from St. Paul, Dr. Casper received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. He continued at the University for 2 years doing post-graduate work in Oral Biology. His private practice was established in Eagan in 1976. In 1989 he relocated to larger facilities at Town Center Shoppes in Eagan.
Special Training. Dr. Casper has particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, fixed prosthodontics (crowns and bridges) and children’s dentistry. As a member of the Minnesota Academy for Gnathological Research, Dr. Casper has received special training in problems relating to jaw (TMJ) and bite reconstruction.
Memberships and Activities . Dr. Casper has been asked to give presentations at a number of dental meetings. He was the featured speaker at an Academy of General Dentistry meeting, reviewing the new air abrasion technology. Dr. Casper is a member of the St. Paul District Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He has served on the St. Paul District Speakers Bureau for 10 years and has been a delegate to the Minnesota Dental Association for 3 years.
Dr. Casper and his wife, Mary, have five children and two granddaughters. He enjoys biking, golf, boating and spending time with his family. Dr. Casper is very active in church and community activities. An active "Cursilloista" he has served on the Twin City Cursillo Secretariat board for a number of years.
Meet Dr. Larsen
Dr. Ken Larsen is originally from St. Paul. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. He then served in the US Army Dental Corps. While in Germany, Dr. Larsen was Clinic Chief at the small dispensary where he was assigned.
Completing his tour of duty overseas, Dr. Larsen was assigned to the US Military Academy at West Point. As Preventive Dentistry Officer at West Point, he planned and implemented a new multimedia course in Human Biology providing the Cadets with an overview of modern dentistry and its benefits to military personnel. Finishing his military service, Dr. Larsen returned to the private practice of dentistry.
Advanced Training. A firm believer in continuing education, Dr. Larsen has attended numerous post-Doctoral courses and seminars. He has received training at the Pankey Dental Institute in Florida. This is the nation’s leading private institution for promoting excellence in dentistry. He has also received training in preventive dentistry, head-face-neck pain and TMJ disorders, advanced restorative dentistry, as well as training in video production and computer based multimedia production. He’s a charter member of the American Society for Preventive Dentistry and past member of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Society for Preventive Dentistry.
In addition to his other interests, Dr. Larsen has an active interest in human behavior. Recently certified by the Wm. Glasser Institute for Choice Theory and Reality Therapy, Dr. Larsen is pursuing ways of building bridges of understanding between people in all situations through communication, dialogue and applying the principles of Choice Theory.
Husband, father and grandfather, Dr. Larsen also enjoys sailing, photography, and video/multimedia production for training and education.
